Message from Judy Kitts, Volunteer Coordinator

Welcome Volunteers! Thank you for expressing an interest in the 2008 Organic Islands Festival and Sustainability Expo. I am so excited to join the OIF team this year and I am looking forward to taking part in a Canada’s largest outdoor green festival!

The Organic Islands Festival continues to grow with thousands of people coming from Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, the mainland and beyond to attend! Last year, there were more than 100 exhibitors, and we expect that with the addition of the Sustainability Expo, our needs for volunteers will continue to grow!

I really look forward to working with volunteers to bring together the green community like never before. Please find below a list of the Volunteer Positions and the Volunteer Application Form. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Included are the dates, times, skill level and description of each task. Please select your ‘Top 3’ positions, your availability and skill-set. Our Volunteer Coordinator will then determine what area(s) would benefit most from your assistance.

Are you a natural leader? Do you have great management skills? The 2008 Organic Islands Festival is looking for Volunteer Captains to help coordinate and organize Volunteer Teams!

Volunteer Captains are critical to the success of the Festival. If you are interested, please be sure to indicate your interest on the Volunteer Registration Form and email us your resume!
