As a volunteer for the Organic Islands Festival, you are requested to attend a Volunteer Orientation & Training session where you will learn more about the festival. You will also meet the members of your team and your team captain. Our Volunteer Orientation and Training session will take place on Wednesday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m. in the Glass House at Glendale Gardens.

We do our best to match volunteers with one of their choices, depending on availabilty.

Due to the number of volunteers required for the Organic Islands Festival, it is very important we schedule our volunteers carefully. Please indicate which shifts you will be available for. The festival is on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11. We will be setting up the Festival grounds on Friday, July 9. Each shift is 5 hours long.

Note: If you are interested in volunteering for a particular position, be sure to indicate the corresponding time(s) as outlined in the Volunteer Position document on the Festival website.

Volunteer Captains are responsible for helping to coordinate volunteers. They will be asked to attend an additional orientation session on Wednesday, June 16 at 6:00 p.m. at Glendale Gardens that will outline the responsibilities of Volunteer Captains and trains them to train their Volunteer Teams!
