Urban Greenery
Urban Greenery, located in the community of Cherry Creek just outside of Port Alberni, is a nursery dedicated to organic gardening. Sheena Adams, main goal, seven years ago, was to have a garden centre which only offered organic fertilizers and organic remedies for pest and disease control in gardens.Since that day she and her organic crew have worked hard to provide as many products organically as possible. To date they offer a certified organic line of vegetable transplants, not only organic but also interesting, such as the orange eggplant, black cherry tomatoes, and lemon cucumbers. Urban Greenery also carries a full rack of certified organic seeds for the garden, of course they are all open pollinated. Other unique certified organic products include wasabi, fig trees, and various fruit trees.
To take care of your plaints they have their own brand of organic plant food, "Sheenas Best." For seven years Sheena has been blending up this special blend, and customers love it. Alongside the special, all purpose, blend are four newly launched blends; Azalea & Rhodo, Fruit Tree, Roses, and Lawn. For pests they offer and use themselves beneficial nematodes and ladybugs. According to Sheena, that really is all you need for pest control. Sheena is a big fan of The Bug Lady's bugs and is proud to sell them.
