Essential Oil Techniques is an Aromatherapy Company specializing in the use of High Quality, Organic, Certified Organic & Wildcrafted Essential Oils in all our Personal Care Products and Clinical Aromatherapy Products. We are located in Burnaby, British Columbia and as of September 2005 are looking to expand our facilities to create an Aromatherapy Spa, Retail & Wholesale Oasis for the Body, Mind & Soul.

All the products are Formulated & Handcrafted by Marlene Smith who is a Registered Aromatherapist and has practiced Aromatherapy informally for over 16years and formally for 3 years. As well as being an Aromatherapy Practitioner, Manufacturer and Formulator, Marlene is also licensed to teach Aromatherapy related workshops that are recognized by the BCAOA and she has over 15 years experience working in both the food & pharmaceutical manufacturing industries which is another reason for wanting to bring more natural, good quality products to the public. She is a member of both, the British Columbia Alliance of Aromatherapy, British Columbia Association of Practicing Aromatherapists and BALLE BC.

Marlene’s vision is to help educate the public about the Healing Benefits of Aromatherapy in a Professional, Creative and Fun way, through direct contact with Customers, Experiential Workshops and through Networking Opportunities.
