Festival Director and Founder

This year marks the 6th Annual Festival & Sustainability Expo, and we are off to an exciting start in a challenging time! The need to support our local community has been on my mind over the past few months as the effects of the economic climate are being felt close to home. I'm grateful we’ve have new first-time exhibitors signing up with almost 60% of spaces booked, sponsors coming on board and volunteers eager to help in all kinds of ways. Visit the Green Scene Blog where I’ll be sharing some of the exciting discoveries I make as I plan the festival  read more on blog

Featured Exhibitor

Energy Alternatives Solar Powers the Festival

EA specializes in the design, sale, installation and maintenance of electrical power systems which harness energy primarily from sunshine, wind and water. Owner Kevin Pegg believes its important that we use this opportunity at the festival to educate people on energy. Our Solar Power station will provide energy in the Village for the main stage and vendors and in the Children’s Village. The station will show the net energy being used by those hooked up to the station, as well as the amount of power coming in from the sun.

I brought a few friends with me to the festival who weren't environmentally savvy and they learned a lot. I see changes in their households already.
